Building UpdateCurrently, dormitory # 1 at Solai is completed, providing housing for 50-75 children; the kitchen is furnished and the furniture for the bedrooms and dining hall, which also serves as a chapel, has been ordered. The projected date for completion of Solai dorm # 2 is June. Another exciting development is a third building which will provide adequate space for a 5-room primary school. Having a private school in the complex will benefit the children in many ways, as you can imagine. They will have the personal attention of good teachers who care about them; the school will be of a higher standard than the public schools, and will, of course, be convenient. NOTE: Exclusivity is not the goal. Dr. Mwangi says, “As long as there is an empty desk or a space at our table, we will welcome indigent children from the community to our day program
